The Atlantic Salmon Trust: ‘Finatical about…..’ Featuring Jack Perks

Earlier this year the Loch Lomond Fisheries Trust secured funding from the North Atlantic
Salmon Conservation Organisation (NASCO) as part of the ‘International Year of the
Salmon’ celebrations. One of our key goals was to host a salmon themed community
engagement conference.
Due to the ongoing situation, the Trust have decided to re-organise this event and change it
to an interactive web series/seminar calle ‘Finatical about….”
Over the next several weeks, we will have guest speakers from a range of backgrounds on
to tell us why they are passionate about Atlantic salmon and answer any questions you
might have.
Our first guest speaker will be Jack Perks, a professional wildlife cameraman and
photographer who has filmed every species of freshwater fish in Britain including the Atlantic
salmon. Jack has written two books on fish with a third on the way, he also writes for
Angler’s Mail & Fallon’s Angler. His work has featured on Springwatch, Countryfile and the
One Show to name a few. During this episode, we will ask Jack what sparked his interest in
fish photography and why he finds Atlantic salmon fascinating.
Our webinar will air live on Wednesday 15 April at 2pm.
You can join the web seminar and ask Jack any questions you have for him or about Atlantic
salmon by registering using the link below. The zoom web seminar is limited to 100
attendees but we plan to stream the session live over facebook as well at
@LochLomondFisheriesTrust.
If you have any questions you would like to ask but do not have access to Zoom, you can send us
your questions by email to l.lomondfisheriestrust@gmail.com .
