An online calendar will appear on our website very shortly listing dates of future LLAIA events viz: the Annual General Meeting, committee meetings, clean up days, competitions and other notable dates and activities which may be of interest to our anglers.
A minimum of six committee meetings are held each year with dates/venues published in advance. Members may attend these meetings and those wishing to do so should give the secretary at least 72 hours notice. Meetings are held within West Dunbartonshire Council premises and subject of strict fire safety regulations and due to limited occupancy attendance may not guarantee admission. The minutes of previous committee meetings will be made available at the venue on the night for viewing by members if so requested. (also at AGMs).
This is an opportunity for anyone interested in serving on the committee to familiarise themselves with its workings. Members may not participate in the meeting or disrupt the business at hand.
The AGM is held at a venue selected by the committee before the end of February each year. Not less than 7 days notice of the meeting shall be given by circular to every member. The date is also posted timeously on the website. Members attending should be in possession of an invitation card or valid permit. Membership fees are normally payable on the night.
